Welcome to SIS Swiss International School Belo Horizonte, the newest school in the SIS group.
It is with great pleasure that I introduce to you a school that was crafted with purpose, care, responsibility and consistent institutional values. For us, education goes far beyond the transmission of content: it means closely accompanying each student, guiding them with sensitivity and inspiring them throughout their journey, while respecting their individuality and encouraging the development of autonomy and critical thinking.

What Defines Us
We live a consistent, but by no means uniform, culture of education – on two continents, in four countries and in 20 locations. But every concept is only as good as its implementation in everyday school life. That is why we make it our highest priority to live by it on a daily basis. Our students and their learning needs are at the heart of our efforts. This is put into practice by taking into account the following eight aspects:
Student Life
Our curriculum is supplemented with a variety of opportunities beyond classroom instruction that enrich learning experiences. This includes lunchtime, homework supervision, intercountry activities, and signature school events as well as exciting after-school activities.
SIS Community
"We like SIS for several reasons with the following three in particular. The first is the pedagogical part, with the integration of knowledge in the subjects offered. The second is the sports activities offered, which involve the SIS-Cup, an annual event for all SIS group schools. And the third is the realization of national and international cultural trips from the fourth year, because they provide a different experience to children and adolescents, for example, team integration, autonomy and responsibilities."

SIS Swiss International School
SIS Swiss International School is a group of private day schools in Brazil, Germany, Switzerland, Italy and Spain offering bilingual education from kindergarten through to college. The SIS programme is centred on consistent bilingual classroom instruction and peer experience in the national language and English (or German or French at ESB Rio de Janeiro), culminating in a national or international university entrance qualification.
