From the very first day of school closure, our staff have been dedicated to reorganizing the class plans and adapt the content and activities for the new scenario. All classrooms were converted to an online format and distance learning began running. They also supported families to get everyone on board as soon as possible.
Through our SIS E-learning Portal by Moodle, teachers are uploading content in a variety of ways such as videos, audios, links... They have also added other applications according to the needs of the students.
Next week, students will be officially introduced to Office 365 and its application Teams to ensure a high-quality online meeting in real time.
Families have also shown great dedication during this period as, due to their age, many students need their support to access devices and platforms. They are, more than ever, present with us during this journey and teachers are considering this new family’s reality when giving instructions online for activities.
The situation is a big challenge for everyone, and, in the end, we will be more united and with great lessons about this period. Our priority is to ensure the well-being of the entire school community while guaranteeing progress in teaching and learning online.
